Letter Of Approval!

I am so happy we got notice today from our agency that China approved us totally to adopt little Aiden. We were expecting this in about 3 more weeks, so it was a great surprise... We may possibly travel in July now. My mom, a family friend and Taylor. It would be great because then we will have all of August with Chad and Aiden, Taylor before she has to go back to school. The next step is us waiting 3 more weeks for China to say when we can travel. Praise God! This news could not have came at a better time. No more orphanage for Zi Gang!

Seeing Our Family for the First Time!

Aiden is doing well. He just recovered from being down with the flu and I was so lucky to get these pictures. He is looking at the picture book of our family! What a blessing. God knows that I need these reassurances to keep pressing on! I can't wait to be able to bring him home to our family. Taylor is so excited as well. To see the pictures bigger click on them. I figured I should figure out how to incorporate a slideshow in here.

Taylor at Poppies..Fishing Rodeo

Well Taylor is having a blast up at poppies house. I actually have a weekend to myself. First time in about 3 months! I don't know what to do with myself. My dad and Dj took them to the annual fishing rodeo. He said they were more into playing with the bait then fishing! We are still waiting for our LOA (letter of approval to come in from China) in case you are wondering. Possibly traveling in July or the end of August is what we are guessing. Can't wait to bring him home!

Chads Reinlistment ~ So Proud

GOT YOUR BACK
I am a small and precious child, my dad's been sent to fight.
The only place I'll see his face is in my dreams at night.
He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track.
I may be sad, but I am proud.
My daddy's got your back.

I am a caring mother, my son has gone to war.
My mind is filled with worries that I have never known before.
Everyday I try to keep my thoughts from turning black.
I may be scared, but I am proud.
My son has got your back.

I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband soon to go.
There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know.
I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my husband pack.
My heart may break, but I am proud.
My husband's got your back.

I am a Soldier, serving proudly... standing tall.
I fight for freedom, yours and mine, by answering this call.
I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks.
Say a prayer that I'll come home,
IT'S ME WHO'S GOT YOUR BACK!!!
